Structural Autologous Fat Transfer is the new name for the old fat injection procedure.  The new technique of structural fat transfer preserves the
integrity of the fat, thus the injected fat lasts indefinitely.  Of all the injectable filler materials, one's own fat is the safest and the longest
lasting.  Fat used for treating a specific facial area is harvested from the abdomen or flanks.
